Lori and Dan Roberts wanted to find a hobby that they would both enjoy, so they could spend time together. They had never been vendors in an antique mall, but they decided they would give it a try.

They started with one booth in July 2021, and now they have four booths. They are spending time together and doing something that they both love.

The Roberts’ have established longtime customers, who return to check their booths for new merchandise.

“I was inspired to get a booth at the Village Antiques and Home Décor Mall of Elizabethton because of the store being so neat and because of the friendly staff,” Lori said. She is glad she made the move and got that first booth, because it has now turned into a business for the couple.

Lori sells eclectic items and home décor. Dan has a man cave booth featuring items popular with the male clientele, such as tools, signs and collectibles.

The Roberts enjoy traveling around the south, and they are always looking for new items to add to their booths.
